Frequently asked questions
Is this a one-off payment or a subscription?
A subscription, billed annually per club — not per player. It renews automatically each year unless you cancel, and covers your whole squad at whatever size it grows to.
Can we cancel or change tiers later?
Yes, any time from your club's billing page. Cancelling takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access you've already paid for. Switching tiers takes effect immediately, with the difference prorated.
Is our payment information secure?
Card details are entered directly into Stripe's own payment form and never touch Headstrong's servers. We only ever see that a payment succeeded, not the card number itself.
What happens with players under 18?
A parent or guardian must record consent before a minor's module completions count. Guardians get their own email invite and sign-in — nothing for a club admin to chase manually.
Which sports does Headstrong cover?
AFL, NRL, soccer, cricket, and rugby union, with more codes on the way. Every club gets the same core education, plus modules built specifically for their sport — not a generic module relabelled with a different logo.
Does Headstrong help with the AFL's contact-training time guidance?
Yes — coaches and admins can log every training session's breakdown (warm-up, non-contact skills, contact drills, and more) directly in the app, building a searchable history of contact time for every team.
Can our coaches get their own access, separate from the club admin?
Yes — assign a coach to a team and they get their own login to see just that team's compliance record and log training sessions, with no access to billing or the rest of the club.
Does the 30% first-year discount apply automatically?
Yes — it's applied the moment you subscribe, no promo code needed. Your second year onward renews at the regular listed price.
